Plant Maintenance Technician Sheffield|Regular days|Potential overtime Travis Talent is recruiting on behalf of a Sheffield based client for a Plant Maintenance Technician. You'll service and maintain a fleet of cranes and associated equipment, helping ensure each crane is safe, reliable and ready for use. What you'll do

Carry out planned mechanical maintenance and servicing. ·
Diagnose faults using manufacturer guidance, replace unserviceable parts and undertake wire rope changes. ·
Prepare cranes and accessories for use, including brackets and anti-climbs. ·
Complete work reports and work closely with the workshop team to maintain high safety and quality standards. ·
Support and mentor other fitters and apprentices where appropriate. The work may involve working at height. What we're looking for
You'll have a strong mechanical maintenance background, ideally with an NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Maintenance, Plant Mechanics or an equivalent qualification. Experience inspecting plant machinery and working safely at height would be valuable. Manufacturer training, rescue at height, hydraulic training or a CPCS Slinger Signaller qualification would also be useful.
