Overview
As Finance Business Partner, you will serve as a trusted financial advisor to operational leaders and the broader Finance team. You will contribute to month-end reviews, provide insightful commentary on financial results, and support budgeting, forecasting, and investment appraisals. You translate complex data into clear guidance to drive commercial decisions and efficiency. This role sits at the heart of operational performance, partnering across functions to enable sustainable growth. You will work in a fast-paced, multi-site retail environment and help shape the company’s financial planning and performance.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to month-end delivery and review, identify discrepancies and key performance drivers
- Provide regular financial reporting with clear stakeholder commentary
- Analyse operational and financial data to identify trends, risks and opportunities
- Partner with stakeholders to build robust budgeting assumptions and forecasts
- Interrogate cost structures to identify efficiencies and manage expenditure
- Engage with non-finance colleagues to translate financial details into actionable guidance
- Collaborate with other Finance Business Partners to streamline reporting and share best practices
Key requirements
- Qualified or part-qualified accountant with commercial finance experience
- Proven track record in a commercial finance environment
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel/Sheets and PowerPoint/Slides
- Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting and financial performance metrics
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex data to non-finance stakeholders
- Ability to manage shifting priorities and work under pressure
