Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an HGV Regional Driver based in Petersfield. The HGV Regional Driver will be responsible for safely operating company trucks, transporting building materials to various locations, adhering to DOT regulations, loading and unloading goods, and ensuring timely deliveries. Other day-to-day tasks include maintaining vehicles, conducting routine safety checks, and providing excellent customer service during deliveries.
Qualifications
- A valid CDL Class A driving license and proven experience in professional truck driving
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance standards for safe driving
- Experience with unloading and handling heavy goods
- Ability to operate and maintain heavy trucks professionally and safely
- Strong time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Familiarity with local delivery routes in the Petersfield area is a plus
