This is a chance to guide a growing function in a dynamic, industry-leading unit and shape the team’s culture and results. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li Competitive salary and benefits aligned with performance /li li Opportunity to lead a dynamic team in an industry-leading unit /li li Comprehensive learning, development and career progression opportunities /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Lead, mentor and develop an 8+ person credit team, including 1:1s, development plans, onboarding, and workload management /li li Oversee team performance against KPIs such as DSO, Dispute Days, Overdues, Prior %, Cash Collection and Bad Debt provision reduction /li li Support process integration and change initiatives, working cross-functionally to implement improvements /li li Guide underwriting and risk management activities, including credit limits up to 500K and risk register for higher limits /li li Manage credit insurance processes, discretionary limit compliance, and adverse event reporting /li li Act as escalation point for credit issues with internal and external stakeholders, resolving disputes and supporting root cause analysis /li li Deputise for Head of Credit as needed and ensure governance, Health Safety checks, and robust debt reporting /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Proven experience leading a credit control or customer services team /li li Strong leadership and coaching track record /li li Excellent analytical skills with financial data processing /li li Strong communication and negotiation with stakeholders at all levels /li li Deep understanding of credit processes, underwriting, and risk management /li li Resilience and adaptability to a fast-paced environment /li /ul ul li Strong interpersonal skills /li li Mentoring and talent development mindset /li li Positive, collaborative team culture advocacy /li li Financial analysis and use of spreadsheets to model and interpret data /li li Credit underwriting principles and risk assessment /li li Knowledge of debt collection processes and KPI tracking /li /ul
