Joining the Travis Perkins family as a Yard Supervisor, you will ensure the safe and efficient running of our yard and lead a team of Yard Assistants who serve customers coming into our yard. You will play a vital role in delivering a first‐class service within the branch team.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing helpful and friendly service at all times.
- Lead the external yard team, process customer orders, and load/unload customer and company vehicles.
- Unload building products from supplier deliveries and accurately book them in the branch warehouse.
- Operate a forklift (full training provided).
- Maintain a tidy and safe working environment, ensuring safety standards are never compromised.
