Overview

Store Assistant role at Travis Perkins plc / Toolstation. 20 hours per week. We are looking for candidates who live locally and can easily commute to our store. Our stores are open from 7 AM to 8 PM, so you must be able to manage early starts and late finishes.

What You\’ll Do

  • Be the friendly face of Toolstation, helping customers find what they need and handling deliveries, warehouse tasks, and stocking shelves.
  • Be prepared to roll up your sleeves in a fast-paced environment with a focus on customer service.
  • No retail experience? No problem — you will be trained; a commitment to delivering excellent service is essential.
  • Handle deliveries, unpack stock, keep the store clean, and prepare orders. Be ready to work hard with a positive attitude.
  • Ask the right questions to understand customers’ projects and help them find everything they need to get the job done right.
  • Be proactive in selling Toolstation Club and Trade Accounts and sign customers up to enjoy benefits and competitive prices.
