Overview
Store Assistant in Ipswich Martlesham Heath. 16 hours per week. 6 months Fixed Term Contract. We are looking for candidates who live locally and can easily commute to our store. Our stores are open from 7 AM to 8 PM, so you must be able to manage early starts and late finishes.

This is more than just a store job. You’ll be the friendly face of Toolstation, helping customers find what they need, and you’ll also be hands-on with deliveries, warehouse tasks, and stocking shelves. Be prepared to roll up your sleeves!
No retail experience? No problem! We’ll teach you everything else as long as you’re committed to delivering excellent service.
Responsibilities
- Handle deliveries, unpack stock, keep the store clean, and prepare customer orders.
- Provide outstanding service by engaging with customers and staying efficient during busy times.
- Ask the right questions to understand customers\’ projects and help them find what they need.
- Be proactive in selling Toolstation Club and Trade Accounts as part of delivering value to customers.
