HGV Class 2 Driver – Travis Perkins Brighton

What will you be doing?
As a Regional HGV Class 2 Driver with Travis Perkins, you\’ll be dedicated to our Brighton Portslade branch – but will often provide relief support and cover to Newhaven and Brighton Trafalgar Lane as required. As a specialist in a range of vehicles (HGVs, vans, HIAB, no HIAB), you\’ll be delivering building materials from our branch to local customers, making sure everything\’s safe and sound. You\’ll load up your vehicle (either manually or with the HIAB lorry-mounted crane), double-check it\’s all properly packed and legal, and then hit the road.
As Brighton\’s newest Regional HGV Class 2 Driver, you\’ll join a team of 11 drivers to become the public face of building materials delivery in the local area – leaving every customer with their full, on-time order and a first-class experience.

Who you are
- Requirements: You\’ll need a Class 2 driving license, up-to-date CPC records, and 12+ months of driving experience.
- HIAB experience: Don\’t have HIAB experience? No problem We\’ll fund your HIAB training.
- Customer-focused: You\’ll be confident building and developing relationships with customers.
- Safety-focused: You\’ll prioritize safety in every aspect of your work, completing tasks in a professional manner.
