What will you do?
You will work as part of the group pricing team, helping deliver the best commercial decisions for the business. This will be achieved by implementing the pricing strategies across the group’s businesses, setting guidance levels, template pricing, passing on inflation, and supporting with branch queries.
Some accountabilities of the role:
- Support the delivery of the pricing strategy by setting and maintaining pricing levels in the system.
- Liaise with Category and Sales Teams to ensure the pricing strategy supports the broader business objectives.
- Analyze pricing trends and the impact of pricing strategy, making recommendations to meet pricing/margin objectives.
- Provide accurate, consistent, and meaningful reporting to the team and wider business to understand and improve category profitability, sales, and customer appeal.
- Be the key point of contact for all pricing-related matters, including strategy, competitor pricing, and cost price increases.
- Plan and manage small-scale projects to support business initiatives or investigate performance variances.
- Continuously challenge current processes and recommend improvements in reporting and analysis.
- Actively seek new opportunities and collaborate across all areas of the team to assist others.
