Responsibilities
- Be the friendly face of Toolstation, helping customers find what they need.
- Handle deliveries, unpack stock, keep the store clean, and prepare orders.
- Support colleagues to deliver a great customer experience; supervise team members as needed.
- Open and close the store, assign daily tasks to the team, and provide short‑term supervisory cover when required.
- Sell the benefits of Toolstation Club and Trade Accounts, signing customers up to enjoy deals.
Requirements
- Friendly personality and commitment to high store standards.
- Reliability – be there when needed; flexibility, commitment, and support for customers and team.
- Accountability – already taken charge in previous role and happy to step up when needed.
- Positive attitude and readiness to work in a fast‑paced retail environment; ability to work early and late hours.
- Some experience of key holder or supervising team members is required (retail experience not essential).
