We are looking for a local candidate who can easily commute to the store. The store is open from 7 AM to 8 PM, so you must be able to manage early starts and late finishes. You’ll be the friendly face of Toolstation, helping customers find what they need, and you’ll also be hands-on with deliveries, warehouse tasks and stocking shelves. It can get hot in summer and chilly in winter, but if you care about doing a good job and providing great customer service, you’ll fit right in. This role is more than just a store job. It provides accountability for supporting colleagues to deliver a great customer experience. While retail experience is not essential, you will need some experience of being a key holder or supervising team members.
Keyholder responsibilities include:
- Opening and closing the store
- Assigning daily tasks to the team
- Providing short-term supervisory cover when needed
Daily duties:
- Handle deliveries and unpack stock
- Keep the store clean and orders ready
- Provide outstanding service to customers
- Ask the right questions to understand customers’ projects
- Sell the benefits of Toolstation Club and Trade Accounts to sign customers up
- Be proactive and maintain high store standards
