People Partner to join our leadership team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our business.

This is far more than a traditional, transactional HR role.

You'll be a trusted advisor to the Managing Director and leadership team, a coach to senior managers and a key contributor to strategic decision making across a fast growing, dynamic business.

Hybrid Working

This is a national role covering the UK operations of TF Solutions, combining flexible home working with 1 to 2 days per week based at our head office in Northampton.

The Opportunity

As People Partner, reporting directly to the Managing Director and CHRO, you will serve as a strategic partner aligning TF Solutions' business strategy with its talent and workforce capabilities.

In this standalone leadership position, you will diagnose organisational needs, coach senior leaders and design proactive people strategies that drive performance, change management and a high-performing culture.

  • What You'll Be Doing
  • Strategic Alignment & Planning: Working closely with senior leadership to translate business priorities into commercial people strategies and identify future talent needs and skill gaps.
  • Trusted Advisor & Leadership Partner: Providing expert guidance to senior leaders on organisational design, talent management, capability, performance management and reward.
  • Culture & Employee Engagement: Fostering a positive work environment, driving engagement and shaping organisational culture alongside wider HR teams.
  • Change

Management: Acting as a key change agent leading organisational transformations and designing new ways of working to deliver business results with minimal operational disruption.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Proactively analysing workforce metrics to identify trends, measure the impact of people initiatives and predict future workforce requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously identifying opportunities to improve people processes, refine team structures and elevate HR service delivery.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensuring all people's practices and policies comply with legal regulations while minimising risk.

About You

You'll be an experienced, resilient HR professional who combines strong commercial acumen and emotional intelligence with an ability to challenge thinking and build trusted relationships at all levels.

Essential

  • At least 5 years in progressive HR/People roles, including generalist HR, talent management or organisational development.
  • Minimum of 2 years directly partnering with senior business leaders (MD/Executive level).
  • Proven experience embedded within a specific operational or business unit (such as Distribution, Merchanting, or Head Office).
  • Demonstrated track record of guiding senior teams through major transformations, restructurings, culture shifts or rapid scaling.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to leverage data to drive decisions and improve business outcomes.
  • Excellent coaching, communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • We'd Particularly Like to See
  • CIPD qualification, HR degree or Masters degree.
  • Customer focused mindset with experience embedding colleague voice into commercial strategy.
