Joining our friendly and hard working family as a Yard Sales Assistant, you'll be on the front line dealing with our customers that come into our yard. As part of the branch team, you will play a vital role in our continued success, providing a first class service.
Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with customers to deliver the highest standards of service – be helpful and friendly at all times, getting to know customers on a first name basis.
- Process customer orders, load and unload customer and company vehicles.
- Unload building products from supplier deliveries and accurately book them into the branch warehouse.
- Use a forklift (full training provided).
- Maintain a tidy and safe working environment, ensuring safety standards never slip.
Skills & Requirements:
- Physically active – able to lift heavy building materials.
- Friendly and outgoing, happy to communicate face to face with customers.
- Adaptable, resilient and tenacious with high levels of energy and drive.
