Travis Perkins Group PLC have an exciting opportunity for a Workshop Service Engineer working for BSS.
Responsibilities:
- Log and inspect returns that are available to Company standards.
- Diagnose repairs and identify parts to be ordered.
- Fleet up new stock ready for branch utilisation following product group processes.
- Ensure that all Branch orders are dealt with in a timely and professional manner.
- Liaise with the Workshop Supervisor on all service and repair issues which will improve performance and company utilisation targets.
- Strive to achieve a high standard of repair at minimum cost whilst keeping the equipment in a safe condition.
Qualifications:
- Knowledgeable of all Hire products and associated materials.
- Knowledge of maintenance of electrical, petrol, 2-stroke & diesel driven equipment.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety.
- Able to problem solve.
- Able to work on own initiative as well as in a team.
