Hire Fitter/ HGV Class 2 Driver

Responsibilities

  • Test, repair and prepare hire tools and equipment so they are safe, compliant and ready for customers.
  • Support the Hire Manager with the day‑to‑day operation of the department.
  • Deliver and collect a wide range of tools and equipment.
  • Build strong customer relationships, understand their needs and offer expert advice.
  • Follow all safety procedures, audits and compliance requirements – safety is at the heart of everything we do.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the plant and hire industry or knowledge of electrical, petrol or diesel equipment (helpful but not mandatory).
  • Strong customer‑service, sales or communication skills.
  • Mandatory: A full clean UK driving licence.
