Our most successful Kitchen Surveyors come from a variety of different sectors and backgrounds, but they all have one thing in common, they all deliver an exceptional âCustomer Experienceâ for both Trade Customers and Homeowners.
Having a vehicle and Full UK Drivers Licence for a minimum of 12 months is essential for this role.
What experience do I need?
You will be joining our Contracts Sales Team. Over 30 strong, you will be part of a team with an enormous wealth of sector experience, to help support you in your new role.. We support our major Public Sector contracts within the Midland region.
Full training is given upon joining, so you don\’t need any previous experience. You\’ll provide a surveying service that includes measuring kitchens and with the use of CAD (Computer-Aided Design), producing plans that meet our clients specifications. You will work on Social Housing contracts carrying out surveys in both vacant and tenanted properties. This is a hybrid role, you will either be with customers doing site surveys, in branch or working from home.

What will I be doing? We will provide full product and CAD training during your on boarding and induction period. Once complete, here\’s a snapshot of âwhat the day in the life of a Kitchen Surveyor looks likeâ.
- You will be required to visit residential properties for our main customers within the Midlands (On occasions you may be travelling up to 3-4 hours a day. (Mileage paid)
- Our success is built on strong relationships with our customers, so itâs essential that you can build and develop long terms relationships and deliver the highest standards of service
- Working with Social Housing / Councils and our stakeholders, you will produce accurate plans and quotes in a professional and timely manner to really understand their project and create their âperfectâ kitchen, whilst keeping the Contract clients fully updated in the process
- Using your new found expert knowledge and creative flair, you will be able to ask great questions to establish whatâs really important and design the dream kitchen solution using CAD and securing a sale
- Safety is at the forefront of everything we do for both our customers and colleagues. In this role we will provide you with a Lone Working Device to ensure you feel safe at all times
What experience do you need?
- Previous industry knowledge is not essential, we are looking for transferable skills, exceptional customer service, a team player and someone that can also work on their own initiative
- Someone that can demonstrate great organisational and communication skills
- We ask for a creative mind and the enthusiasm to learn new skills that has attention to detail is key to excel in this role.
- Youâll be methodical and tenacious in your approach, be meticulous in terms of planning
- Youâll have great communication skills and be able to talk to a diverse set of individuals
- Youâll have a friendly and outgoing personality, with the drive and energy to succeed, being a strong self starter you will also enjoy working collaboratively with customers and colleagues
