Responsibilities
- Manage the hire department, be hands on with sales and customer orders, oversee stock management and oversee operations.
- Develop a proactive sales action plan to achieve and exceed the agreed AOP.
- Undertake a full range of managerial duties to ensure the effective utilisation of all resources.
- Oversee that the plant and all tools are properly maintained and kept in good working order β within health and safety requirements and with the correct documentation.
What We Are Looking For
- Ability to work well with the branch team and provide quality customer service; demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Sales experience is ideal as the role is proactively sales driven.
- Good working understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment gained within the Hire industry, or a similar environment.
- New starters will undertake a 12-month training programme to support embedding in the role and will receive a professional qualification upon successful completion.
