Responsibilities

  • Manage the hire department, be hands on with sales and customer orders, oversee stock management and oversee operations.
  • Develop a proactive sales action plan to achieve and exceed the agreed AOP.
  • Undertake a full range of managerial duties to ensure the effective utilisation of all resources.
  • Oversee that the plant and all tools are properly maintained and kept in good working order – within health and safety requirements and with the correct documentation.

What We Are Looking For

  • Ability to work well with the branch team and provide quality customer service; demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Sales experience is ideal as the role is proactively sales driven.
  • Good working understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment gained within the Hire industry, or a similar environment.
  • New starters will undertake a 12-month training programme to support embedding in the role and will receive a professional qualification upon successful completion.
