Schedule and Location
Senior Store Assistant (keyholder), Billingshurst – 20 hours per week. Candidates should live locally and commute easily to the store. Store hours are 7 AM to 8 PM, so early starts and late finishes are required.
Responsibilities
- Open and close the store, assign daily tasks to the team, and supervise short‑term coverage when required.
- Handle deliveries, unpack stock, keep the store clean, and prepare orders.
- Provide outstanding customer service, engaging customers and helping them find the right products.
- Promote Toolstation Club and Trade Accounts, including signing customers up.
- Maintain high store standards and support colleagues to deliver excellent customer experience.
- Be proactive, keep the store organized, and adapt to fast‑paced working conditions.
Qualifications
- Friendly and positive personality, with strong customer service focus.
- Reliability and flexibility; commitment to punctuality and support of teammates.
- Previous experience as a keyholder or supervising team members (preferred but not essential).
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks such as lifting and stocking.
- Good communication skills and a willingness to learn and grow.
