Senior Store Assistant (keyholder) in Alton – 20 hours per week. Local candidates who can commute easily. Our stores open from 7 AM to 8 PM, so you must manage early starts and late finishes.
You’ll be the friendly face of Toolstation, helping customers find what they need, while also being hands-on with deliveries, warehouse tasks and stocking shelves. Be prepared to roll up your sleeves: it can get hot in summer and chilly in winter. The role has accountability for supporting colleagues to deliver a great customer experience. You’ll handle deliveries, unpack stock, keep the store clean and prepare orders. Hard work and a positive attitude are more important than experience. You’ll provide outstanding service, chat with customers and stay efficient during busy times, ask the right questions to help customers with their projects, generate sales of Toolstation Club and Trade Accounts, and sign customers up to experience great deals. As a keyholder you’ll be trusted to open and close the store, assign daily tasks to the team and provide short-term supervisory cover when needed.
