Travis Baker, part of the RSK Group, is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join their growing team in Nottingham, UK. This full‑time, permanent role offers exposure to a variety of major development projects and encourages professional development.
Responsibilities
- Prepare infrastructure drawings and design using AutoCAD and other proprietary design software.
- Serve as a single point of contact on designated projects.
- Undertake negotiations with Local and Drainage Authority Engineers on adoptable works (Section 104, Section 38, and Section 278).
- Implement designs on private areas to comply with current Codes of Practice.
- Collaborate with other design team members (architects, M&E engineers, clients, etc.).
Qualifications and Experience
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Practical understanding of civil engineering principles.
- 5–10 years of experience in a similar role within a consultancy.
- Degree or HNC level education.
- Chartered or Incorporated membership of the Institution of Civil Engineers preferable but not essential.
- Ability to manage and mentor a team of engineers and technicians.
