Paralegal Finance Travers Smith is a leading full-service law firm, with a wealth of experience in its areas of specialisation.

The firm has a market-leading reputation for its international expertise in Asset Management, M legal research; production of business development materials; and assisting fee earners/ trainees / knowledge counsel with specific tasks and projects.

Assist with transaction documents, including production, organization, and preparation of transaction bibles.

Create binders, amend documents, print, copy, check, scan, and distribute files.

Archive and dispose of documents in line with department protocols.

Proofread legal transaction documentation for sense, consistency, cross-referencing, definitions, formatting, and typographical errors.

Perform legal research using various legal research tools for case law, legislation, commentary, and practical guidance.

Conduct both legal and non-legal factual research, including company and business information.

Assist with due diligence tasks, including reviewing and analysing documents and minor drafting of due diligence reports and contract summaries.

Act as the interface between key internal stakeholders, including fee earners in other practice areas.

Provide support to partners, associates, senior associates, and senior counsels.

Maintain departmental know-how resources by uploading, correctly labelling, and organising documents.

Handle chargeable work, including contacts with clients.

Perform other ad hoc duties where necessary.

Senior Operations Manager Personal Specification - Experience, Knowledge capable of working independently while also effective in teamwork settings.

Self-motivated and proactive, with a willingness to anticipate and meet the needs of those supported.

Responsible for assigned projects and tasks, maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity where required.

Flexible in adjusting hours to meet operational needs, and adept at balancing multiple assignments, shifting priorities, and competing deadlines.

Experience working autonomously as well as collaboratively.

Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive matters efficiently.

Completion of the Legal Practice Course (LPC) or SQE.
