The Business Development, Clients, Marketing, Events and Communications team consists of 33 people who focus on increasing the profile of the firm and the brand through a variety of channels to create leads and opportunities that can increase profitable revenues. The department is at the forefront of several key strategic firmwide initiatives, priding itself on achieving strategic aims while ensuring a collaborative, inclusive and rewarding team dynamic.
Reporting to Proposals lead, the Proposals Executive will be responsible for supporting working on the firm's proposals primarily supporting on firm wide panel RFPs and transactional RFPs in the corporate practice group.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Proposals Lead who is the owner and ambassador of pitch standards across the BDMC team. This will include working across the BDMC team to ensure that pitch decks are up to date and that activities are aligned across practice groups and cross-firm initiatives to ensure a 'one firm' approach to clients and to business development activities.
- Work with the Proposals Lead and across the BDMC team to build pitch infrastructure to help improve efficiency in pitch creation and consistency in pitch messaging, driving a 'one firm' approach to pitching.
- Support on firmwide panel RFP responses, large transactional pitches and ones of strategic importance.
- Produce tailored content and messaging, focusing on creating compelling value propositions and sales messages whilst considering wider issues such as diversity in the proposed team, AI messaging and ESG/CSR considerations.
- Work closely with relevant internal teams, including Central Finance, Risk & Compliance team, HR, CSR & D&I, Technology, KLs and the wider BD team to ensure that all aspects of a pitch are carefully considered, and all questions are completed accurately.
- Adopt a creative approach to pitch collateral to improve efficiency in response times, with regular review to ensure collateral is kept up to date and fit for purpose.
- Carry out market research as required to support a focused business development approach.

- A minimum of 1 year experience working in a business development role in a professional services organisation or relevant advisory service.
- Graduate with a relevant professional marketing and/or business qualification - preferable.
