We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our senior management group as Director of Digital Infrastructure & Operations. This is a strategic role at the heart of our digital transformation, responsible for ensuring the resilience, security, and efficiency of the University’s technical backbone.

Responsibilities

  • Lead critical functions including IT Operations, Cyber Security, Networking, Identity & Access, Platforms, AV, and IT Asset Management.
  • Drive innovation through adoption of emerging technologies, cloud solutions, and best practices.
  • Ensure robust security, business continuity, and disaster recovery across all digital services.
  • Champion sustainability by embedding environmentally responsible practices in digital operations.
  • Manage substantial budgets with a focus on cost-efficiency and value for money.
  • Play a key role in shaping and delivering the University’s strategic plan, working collaboratively across senior leadership.

Qualifications

About You: you are an experienced senior leader with a proven track record in IT infrastructure and operations within complex organisations. You combine strategic vision with hands-on expertise, and you excel at leading high-performing teams through change. You have strong financial acumen, deep technical knowledge, and a commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion are essential.
