About the job
We are looking for a UX & Visual Designer to join our team to help us understand our customers\’ evolving requirements, and ensure our user experience and product evolves with our fast-paced industry. This role will also support our marketing team with graphic design requirements.
A few examples of your responsibilities
- Help shape outstanding user experiences and impact the success of our products by creating flawless UI and UX designs, from conceptualisation to delivery. You’ll take a human-first approach to designing products, understanding the customer needs, ensuring they delight users by being as effective as they are aesthetically pleasing.
- Make use of prototyping tools to ensure your designs are intuitive and to explore new, innovative ways of designing interactions.
- Work closely with the product team and software engineers to propose new features and improve the quality of our platform and API documentation.
- Focus on user testing and research to ensure our customers are always at the core of our product designs.
- Find, together with engineers, the most efficient trade-off between high-value solutions for users and the complexity of implementation.
- Take part in customer calls and discovery sessions to understand user needs, gather feedback on design solutions, and collaborate directly with clients to present design concepts and iterate based on their input.
- Leverage usage data to evaluate the impact of your designs, and apply your learnings to the next iterations.
- Design on-brand graphics and content for a variety of marketing needs, including B2B email newsletters, social media, the website (WordPress), digital campaigns, and event collateral.
- Create compelling visual presentations and short videos to support sales and internal communications.
- Work with the marketing team to ensure visual consistency across all external-facing assets and touchpoints.
- Stay up to date on design trends, UX best practices, and tools relevant to B2B SaaS and travel
Desired Skills and Experience
- Figma, Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva (Software), User Interface Design, Product Design, User Experience (UX), Web Design
- A portfolio showcasing creative and digital design work (academic projects welcome)
- Interest in designing for software products and marketing in a B2B SAAS/tech environment
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work within an established brand system
- Proven ability to accurately estimate project timelines and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- A willingness to learn and contribute proactively in a team setting
- An understanding of user-centred design principles is essential, with knowledge of the travel industry considered a bonus.
