Introduction to the team
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Talent Sourcer to join our Talent Acquisition team. This role is responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying top talent to support our hiring goals. The ideal candidate will have strong sourcing expertise, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of recruiting processes and tools. This role will focus on sourcing top-tier talent for Expedia Group’s EMEA-based technology roles, including software engineering, data science, product management, and more. You’ll play a critical role in building pipelines for high-impact positions that power our global travel platform.
In this role you will:
- Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., Workday) to manage candidate pipelines and track progress.
- Conduct advanced candidate assessments and interviews to evaluate fit and potential.
- Execute end-to-end sourcing strategies aligned with business hiring needs.
- Partner with Tech recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements and build targeted sourcing plans.
- Research and screen potential candidates using platforms like LinkedIn and other referral tools.
- Translate job requirements into effective talent solutions and candidate profiles.
- Engage candidates throughout the hiring process, ensuring a positive experience.
- Manage social media content and marketing strategies to attract talent.
- Attend recruiting events, conferences, and career fairs to build talent pipelines.
- Ensure timely and professional communication with stakeholders and candidates.
- Provide guidance to stakeholders on market trends, candidate availability, and sourcing strategies.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sourcing efficiency and conversion rates.
Experience and Qualifications
- 4-6 years in Tech Talent Sourcing
- Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (Workday preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced interviewing and assessment capabilities
- Solid understanding of recruiting principles, processes, and tools
- Negotiation and influencing skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Stakeholder management and guidance
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the EMEA tech talent market, including regional trends, candidate expectations, and sourcing best practices.
- Respond to stakeholder requests accurately and promptly.
- Understand internal and external customer needs and business challenges.
- Demonstrate knowledge of recruiting policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Develop and maintain project timelines and schedules to meet hiring milestones.
