The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented MICE Commissions Specialist to manage and optimize the commission collection and reporting processes. In this role, you will work closely with the Commission team, MICE team, commission suppliers, and other departments to ensure timely payments, accurate financial records, and efficient processes.

This role will be based from our Birmingham/Barcelona hub.

What will you be doing?

  • Maintain the MICE Hotel Entities Master Data in the ERP system, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
  • Verify the correctness of invoicing within the ERP, and performing active collection activities to ensure timely payments. A key part of your role will be monitoring commission agreements and ensuring that all payments are made in accordance with contractual terms.
  • Control and maintain the MICE Ageing Report, as well as manage the Dunning procedure in the ERP.
  • Additionally, you will reconcile outstanding commission reports with actual payments received, investigating and resolving any discrepancies in collaboration with internal teams and external partners. You will maintain a structured system for tracking, reporting, and forecasting commission collections.
  • Work closely with the MICE teams, you will follow up on unresolved disputes and help enforce payment compliance. Finally, you will ensure that all balances recorded in the ERP are fully reconciled and audit-ready.
