About the opportunity
Join Flight Centre Travel Group as a Recruitment Team Leader based in London and play a pivotal role in shaping how we attract and hire top talent. You'll lead a high-performing recruitment team while partnering with senior stakeholders to deliver outstanding hiring outcomes. Key responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end recruitment including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and pre-employment checks
- Partner with Hiring Managers to deliver tailored, high-impact recruitment solutions
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies, campaigns, and employer branding initiatives
- Ensure consistent hiring standards and timely communication across all recruitment stages
- Support internal recruitment and mobility processes with fairness and transparency
- Maintain accurate candidate records and ensure completion of employment agreements
- Train, mentor, and develop recruitment consultants through coaching and regular one-on-ones
- Communicate team goals, vision, and recruitment objectives clearly and effectively
- Provide insights and guidance on market trends and recruitment best practices
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, candidates, agencies, and sourcing partners
- Collaborate with global recruitment teams and stay connected to industry developments
- Deliver meaningful recruitment reporting, including pipeline metrics, hiring activity, and competitor insights
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and accessible work environment where all Flighties feel welcomed, respected, and supported to thrive
Experience & qualifications
- 3+ years' experience as a leader in recruitment (internal or external)
- Strong experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes
- Demonstrated leadership and team development capability
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Advanced communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Experience using recruitment systems (e.g., PageUp or similar ATS)
- Strong analytical capability with experience in recruitment reporting and metrics
- Experience with SHL assessments or similar psychometric tools (preferred)
