As Privacy & AI Analyst at Perk, you will be the engine behind our privacy and AI governance program. This is a hands‑on, operational role focused on building systems, processes, and tooling - not a legal counsel or advisory position. While our Counsel sets the legal direction, you will make it real by transforming our privacy function from a manual checkpoint into a self‑serve technical infrastructure. You will have the opportunity to create visible impact from day one as Perk moves toward being an AI‑first company. This role sits within Perk’s Legal & Privacy team, reporting to the Head of Privacy.
What will you be doing?
- Front‑Line Response: own the end‑to‑end Data Subject Request (DSR) lifecycle, triage privacy and AI incidents, and act as the first responder to client and internal privacy and AI governance queries.
- Automation & Tooling: manage our privacy and AI governance tools, leveraging AI to accelerate common tasks and engineer out manual workstreams. Develop our Privacy Hub—the team’s infrastructural “brain” that integrates and automates privacy workflows—and curate resources (guides, FAQs, playbooks) to integrate privacy into other teams’ workflows with minimal human touch.
- Accountability Routines: run DPIAs/FRIAs, LIAs, TIAs, AI inventory, consent tracking, and ROPA, ensuring they reflect Perk’s evolving data landscape.
- Certifications & Reporting: maintain technical controls for ISO certifications (27701/27001/42001/23894), support audits, and report key performance metrics to senior stakeholders.
- Training & Enablement: design practical training programs and work through other teams to spread shared ownership across the company.
What capabilities will help you succeed?
- A builder mindset with a strong instinct for process automation and navigating data flows and APIs.
- 2–5 years of experience in privacy operations, or a related operational function, ideally in a SaaS or technology environment.
- Practical knowledge of key privacy & AI governance regulatory frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, EU AI Act).
- Ability to grasp complex technical concepts. Think data flows, system architectures, and anonymisation.
- Excellent problem‑solving and sound risk judgment. You will be tasked with making decisions with limited oversight.
- A self‑starter attitude focused on impact over effort, aligning with Perk's core values.
Where will the role take you?
We believe in continual leveling up. You will develop the techniques to deliver internal privacy and AI governance capability at scale, subverting expectations that compliance is just bureaucracy. The next promotion layer is Senior Privacy & AI Analyst, and we expect you to grow into this by scaling capabilities in your areas of expertise without the burden of micromanagement.
