About Us
Perk (formerly TravelPerk) is the intelligent platform for travel and spend management. Built to tackle the time-consuming, manual work that gets in the way of real work, our tools automate everything from travel bookings to expenses, invoice processing, and more. By eliminating this shadow work that wastes hours, erodes morale, and saps innovation, we’re on a mission to power real work, with real impact. We’re trusted by more than 10,000 companies worldwide, including Wise, On Running, Breitling, and Fabletics, and we’re tackling the 7 hours of lost productivity per employee each week, a $1.7 trillion problem. Founded in 2015, Perk has grown into a global company of more than 1,800 people across 12 offices globally, with headquarters in London and Boston. We combine innovation, control, and simplicity to transform how businesses work and how people feel at work. At Perk, we’re driven by our values, like being an owner, delivering a 7-star experience, and working as one team. We value curiosity, purpose, and mindset, not just knowledge, to unlock the power in your potential.
About the role
At Perk, we believe in empowering cross-functional teams that drive exceptional results for our customers and the company. We're transforming how work gets done by eliminating tedious manual processes in travel, spend, and financial operations, freeing Finance Controllers to focus on strategic decision-making instead of reconciliation shadow work. As Group Product Manager for Finance Automation, you will lead the product strategy and execution across three squads responsible for delivering the intelligent financial experience at the core of Perk: Financial Experience, ERP Integrations Growth, and ERP Integrations Maturity. Together, these teams own the full accounting automation lifecycle, from the moment of spend capturing, through automated reconciliation, to final posting in the ERP system. This is a high-impact leadership role at the intersection of product, finance, and AI. You will define the multi-team roadmap, align it with TravelPerk's growth and revenue targets, and ensure that Finance Controllers and their organisations love using Perk.
What You’ll Do
- Own the group vision, strategy, and roadmap across Financial Experience and ERP Integrations, ensuring your squads deliver measurable business outcomes in alignment with Perk's mission to eliminate accounting shadow work.
- Lead and grow a team of PMs: set expectations, coach craft, run structured 1-1s, and build a culture of ownership, customer empathy, and continuous improvement across the group.
- Drive high-velocity execution by making bold, fast bets informed by customer feedback, data, market research, and deep intuition for how AI can reshape finance automation workflows.
- Define and own the ERP integration strategy: ensuring that onboarding new customers is fast and scalable, that data flows cleanly into major ERPs (like NetSuite, SAP, Business Central, Xero, QuickBooks and others), and that the technical experience meets enterprise-grade reliability.
- Champion the finance controller experience: from invoice collection and VAT recovery to expense reconciliation and multi-entity reporting, ensure the product removes friction and creates delight at every touchpoint.
- Prototype rapidly using tools like Claude and Cursor to accelerate the product development lifecycle and fast-forward to production-ready AI-powered automations.
- Stay deeply plugged into AI research, fintech trends, and ERP ecosystem developments, filtering signal from noise and applying it creatively to drive step-change improvements in the product.
- Manage stakeholders across Finance, Revenue, Customer Care, Compliance, and Engineering leadership, communicating progress, risks, and strategy clearly, and negotiating priorities with rigour.
- Represent the Finance Automation group in leadership forums, contributing to Builders-wide strategy and cross-group alignment.
What You’ll Need
Core Product Leadership- 5+ years in product management with at least 2 years leading a group of teams or managing other PMs. You know how to set a strategy across multiple squads without losing execution quality.
- Strong customer empathy and design thinking. You demonstrate a passion for understanding the entire expense lifecycle, from spend inception through automated reconciliation to final ERP posting, as well as the specific friction points unique to complex accounting workflows.
- Proven ability to define and own product vision and roadmaps that translate business goals into clear priorities, milestones, and team missions.
- Track record of delivering high-quality products to enterprise finance users, ideally including CFOs, Finance Controllers, or accounting teams.
- Deep understanding of finance automation. This includes ERP integrations (NetSuite, SAP, Xero, QuickBooks preferred), expense reconciliation, VAT reclaim, invoice management, or adjacent fintech domains.
- Ability to engage fluently with engineering on architecture decisions, API design, and data flows. You don't need to code, but you understand complexity and tradeoffs.
- Experience evaluating build vs buy decisions on integrations and applying platform thinking to scale across customers.
- Fluency in data: you set clear KPIs, use quantitative and qualitative signals to prioritise, and can distinguish leading from lagging metrics.
- Passion for AI, shown through hands-on building, prototyping, or side projects — you stay current on research and tools and can articulate clearly where AI creates leverage in finance automation.
- Fluency with modern prototyping tools (e.g. Cursor, Bolt, Claude Code) and comfort with design/collaboration environments like Figma and Git.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence multi-team product organisations, engineering and design partners, and senior cross-functional stakeholders toward a common goal.
- Excellent written and verbal communication. You can synthesise complex technical and customer information into crisp strategy narratives for audiences from ICs to C-level.
- Experience navigating ambiguity in a fast-scaling B2B SaaS environment, making sound product decisions under uncertainty, and iterating based on evidence.
Why This Role, Why Now
Finance Automation is one of the highest-leverage bets at Perk. Every new customer who "goes live" on Perk does so only once their ERP integration is working. This means our group is directly on the critical path of revenue. At the same time, there are huge opportunities for AI adoption to go from manual, operationally-intensive processes to intelligent, near-zero-touch workflows. You'll be building that future. You’ll work with world-class engineers and designers, with direct access to customer feedback loops, and with the support of a leadership team that believes product is the differentiator.
