Job Description: We’re looking for someone who’s going to take our unique model, grow our footprint rapidly, and share in our success. The Sales Development Representative must be an energetic and ambitious individual that leads TravelStaytion property portfolio efforts, sets, and achieves monthly, quarterly, and yearly revenue goals regarding new properties, and improves end-to-end conversion by refining our operations, processes, and systems. Driving the commercial performance of the group forward, the Sales Development Representative is responsible for sourcing and contracting new properties in all destinations around the world, according to clear targets per destination.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Research new market opportunities with property management companies, property owner individuals, property developers, and real estate asset managers to identify potential new partners to onboard their properties and grow TravelStaytion's market share.
  • Contact potential new property owners and managers using phone, email, and face-to-face to gauge interest and plan meetings.
  • Set up meetings with property owners or property management companies in the vacation rental market with the aim to “seal the deal.”
  • Negotiate business terms with new and existing property owners or property management companies using phone, email, and in-person meetings.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals and clear KPIs while ensuring that the sales team meets them.
  • Communicate and build strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
  • Collaborate and offer strategic planning with all departments of the company to increase performance and achieve monthly targets.
  • Represent TravelStaytion at networking events, travel trade conferences, and events as required.
  • Update sales collaterals to promote company identity and services.
  • Research the market to support business decisions and company development.
  • Continuous involvement and improvement of the company's day-to-day business operations.
  • Need to be passionate about vacation rental, travel, and the real estate market and enjoy the buzz of finding and developing new business and not be afraid to tackle new market segments to drive volume and repeat business to the company.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years sales experience (ideally in the serviced apartments and/or hospitality sales industry).
  • Tenacity and passion for lead generation and conversion.
  • Experience managing relationships at a senior level.
  • Multi-tasking and strong time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills in English.
  • A sales ‘shark’ mentality; door-opening approach.
  • Strong will to achieve results with minimal supervision.
  • Professional in all forms of communications such as email, phone calls, and texts.
  • Highly responsive and reliable with strong attention to detail.
  • Energetic and responsive - you must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
