How you’ll make an impact:

The Senior Product Manager is responsible for driving product strategy and delivery across a complex, multi‑sided travel technology ecosystem. This role requires strong customer orientation, technical fluency, commercial acumen, and the ability to lead cross‑functional teams in an Agile environment.

Your role in action:

Customer & Market Orientation

  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs across travel agencies, suppliers, and developers.
  • Serve as the internal voice of the customer and validate solutions through customer engagement and feedback loops.
  • Balance agency, supplier, and platform needs in a multi‑sided marketplace.
  • Technical & Platform Fluency (General & Galileo Host)
    Demonstrate strong technical understanding across platform capabilities, including onboarding, authentication, access management, and critical travel industry concepts (NDC, Orders, Ticketing, PNRs, PoS integration).
    Additionally, show deep fluency in host-based travel operations and agency servicing workflows, including:

  • Host‑based PNR lifecycle and servicing (creation/modification/commit workflows, segment status behaviors, audit and history awareness).
  • Queueing and operational processes used for schedule changes, fulfillment follow‑ups, and post‑booking servicing.
  • Ticketing and ancillary document lifecycles (ticket and EMD issuance, exchange/reissue, refund/void) and how document states impact downstream servicing.
  • Operational messaging such as SSR, OSI, and remarks, with an understanding of how data quality affects servicing flows and customer experience.
  • Agile Product Leadership & Delivery

  • Mentor and support junior members of the team, helping them develop product skills, domain expertise and confidence in contributing to strategic initiatives
  • Commercial & Data‑Driven Decision-Making

  • Use analytics and quantitative reasoning to guide prioritization and product strategy.
  • Track and report product KPIs (activation, adoption, ROAS, API usage, .
  • Ensure product decisions drive revenue, efficiency, and ROI while complying with commercial, security, billing, and regulatory considerations.
  • Go To Market Execution

  • Lead the Go To Market strategy and delivery for Trip Activity Alerts and any other future related products, including launch planning, stakeholder alignment and any subsequent enhancements or follow on activities.
  • Product Strategy and Roadmaps

  • Define and maintain the strategy and roadmap for Trip Activity Alerts, ensuring gaps between this solution, Travelport Booking Feed and the MIR are identified and addressed.
  • Contribute to the strategy for e-tracker, ensuring alignment with the broader product ecosystem.
  • Shape the strategy and roadmap for Trip Container and define how it fits within the longer term architecture for True Multi Source Content.
  • Own the strategy and roadmap for Travelport Booking Feed.
  • Support TP+ upgrades by ensuring product gaps are resolved through an API first approach, with careful consideration of the long term content strategy and MSC workflow management.
  • Provide input to the Ticketing and EMD strategy and roadmap as and when required.
  • Ensure the NDC normalization strategy aligns with longer term MSC goals and technical direction.
  • Cross Product and Customer Considerations

  • Maintain a strong understanding of internal and external customers who depend on Air Order workflows and functionality, ensuring their needs are considered across all product decisions.
  • Contribute to the Agency Container roadmap and strategy.
  • Support Payments and Industry Mandate strategy and roadmap activities when needed.
  • Could this be you?

  • Extensive experience with Jira to structure and manage epics, user stories, dependencies, and Agile workflows across distributed engineering teams.
  • Experience in travel industry mandatory /GDS knowledge desired.
  • High proficiency in Confluence as a documentation and knowledge‑management hub, including PDDs, strategy docs, decision logs, and stakeholder‑ready updates.
  • Ability to leverage Jira and Confluence together to:Translate product strategy into executable delivery plans.Ensure clarity of requirements and acceptance criteria.Strengthen collaboration between Product, Engineering, Design, and Commercial teams.Improve transparency, traceability, and delivery predictability at scale.
