  • Management of month, quarter, and year-end close timetable, ensuring bottlenecks are resolved and escalating issues as appropriate, monitoring the delivery of activities by our outsourced accounting providers, and supporting identification and resolution of any accounting issues.
  • Ensuring each legal entity’s results properly reflect its business model.
  • Undertaking the accounting for more complex/unusual accounting transactions.
  • Involvement in driving process improvements, improving consistency of practices across legal entities and regions, including improvements to our financial systems.
  • Final review and approval of indirect tax returns prepared by outsourced partner.
  • Preparing legal entity reporting packs providing Balance Sheet and P&L analysis and supporting commentary.
  • Overseeing the external audit process, financial statement filings and other compliance deliverables, ensuring auditors' questions are being appropriately answered.
  • Provide accurate financial accounting information and analysis to other interested parties including decision support, tax, controllership and senior management.
  • Oversight and support to other finance teams (including accounts payable, accounts receivable).

  • You’ll be a quick learner, with keen attention to detail, who is accountable and delivery focused.
  • Qualified or QBE accountant.
  • Practical and proven accounting experience in a similar large, complex, multinational organization.
  • Spanish or Portuguese language skills (written and verbal).
