Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring each legal entity’s results properly reflect its business model.
  • Undertaking the accounting for more complex/unusual accounting transactions.
  • Involvement in driving process improvements, improving consistency of practices across legal entities and regions, including improvements to our financial systems.
  • Final review and approval of indirect tax returns prepared by outsourced partner.
  • Reviewing legal entity reporting packs providing Balance Sheet and P&L analysis and supporting commentary.
  • Overseeing the external audit process, financial statement filings and other compliance deliverables, ensuring auditors questions are being appropriately answered.
  • Provide accurate financial accounting information and analysis to other interested parties including decision support, tax, controllership and senior management.
  • Oversight and support to other finance teams (including accounts payable, accounts receivable).

  • Exposure to working in Latin America (Mexico or Brasil) advantageous but not required.
  • Sound commercial awareness.
  • Able to work autonomously to deliver well-defined outputs.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple organizations, across time-zones, both inside and outside of Travelport.
  • Strong team-player, able to demonstrate flexibility, and resilience.
  • Must be comfortable dealing with change, and have a desire to continually improve processes.
