This is a key analyst role in Travelport’s airline data and performance team. This person will be responsible for our external data, reporting to our Airline Customers and supporting the wider business. The analyst will be commercially focused and use their analytical skills to build BI solutions showing Travelport’s value to our airline customers. The analyst will be responsible for producing key reports on a scheduled basis, for gathering good quality information about the performance being reported and using the data to create actionable insights. The role will cover a broad range of performance metrics such as passenger volumes & revenue, upselling paid extras, return on investment and performance in the marketplace. This includes ensuring that information is accurate and useful for decision making particularly to Senior Leadership and the Commercial team to support their activities and priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Presenting insights to internal customers and able to ‘tell a story’ using our data.
- Extract, prepare and analyze data across a range of travel data sets to surface relevant trends.
- Manipulate data to build out appropriate charts, tables, and key messages in compelling formats.
- High quality reporting output - accurate, complete, well-presented and brand aligned.
- Deliver regular reports on the performance of Airlines (dashboards) to customers, management, and other stakeholders.
- Supporting and training internal users to get the most out of our data solutions.
- Continuous improvement of our reporting and dashboards using a range of local and cloud-based BI tools.
- Prepare and maintain documentation for reporting practices.
- Proactively look for new opportunities to leverage our data across the business.
