We’re hiring right now for an Associate Architect! Search for #Travelport on LinkedIn and hear from our amazing team.
How you’ll make an impact:
We are looking for a motivated and curious Associate Architect to join our Security Architecture team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is ready to build on foundational experience and develop deeper expertise across cloud security, identity and access management, secure software development practices, and infrastructure as code.
You will work alongside experienced security architects and cross-functional engineering teams to help design and review secure systems, evaluate emerging technologies, and contribute to the secure evolution of our platforms and services.
Your role in action:
- Work with engineering teams to design and build secure systems, integrating security best practices across infrastructure and applications.
- Support threat modeling and security reviews, helping identify risks in new features, services, or technologies before they go live.
- Manage and configure identity platforms like Okta and Auth0, ensuring secure access control and enforcing authentication standards.
- Assist in deploying and maintaining edge security solutions, including web application firewalls, CDNs, and other protective controls.
- Monitor security configurations and events using tools like Sumo Logic, contributing to incident detection, analysis, and regulatory compliance.
Could this be you?
- Understanding of security architecture principles, such as least privilege, defense-in-depth, and secure-by-design.
- Experience with or exposure to edge security technologies, including web application firewalls (e.g., AWS WAF) and CDNs (e.g., Akamai, CloudFront).
- Ability to assess and support the design of secure system architectures, considering threat models, data flows, and control placement.
- Knowledge of how edge security controls fit into broader security strategies, including DDoS protection, access control, and application-layer defenses.
