About The Role
We are looking for a Staff Product Designer for our Spend product to join on a one‑year contract. The Spend product includes Expense Management, Cards, and Invoices and sits at the heart of the employee experience. As a Staff Product Designer you will partner with Product and Engineering to define a 7‑star experience, lead strategic initiatives, and influence design across teams while coaching fellow designers.
What You’ll Do
- Design for Impact: Define end‑to‑end user experiences across web and mobile, crafting designs that delight users and deliver measurable business impact.
- Bring Insights to Life: Turn data, customer feedback, and market research into solutions tailored to the US market. Collaborate with research to gather feedback for every shipped product.
- Shape the Vision: Partner with Product, Engineering, and design leadership to define clear problem statements and craft product strategy that balances user needs with business goals.
- Collaborate Across Functions: Work closely with engineers, product, research, and content design to achieve optimal outcomes, and collaborate with stakeholders such as Sales and Account Management for company alignment.
- Champion our users’ needs: Advocate for best‑in‑class usability, scalability, and accessibility, ensuring every interaction feels intuitive and impactful.
- Elevate the Craft: Oversee the overall experience for your product area and for the Design team, reviewing work, mentoring peers, and running processes to maintain quality standards.
What You’ll Need
- 8‑10+ years of product design experience at a fast‑growing tech company. Experience with Expense Management, FinTech, or SaaS products is a strong plus.
- Passionate energy for great design and amplifying our team culture.
- Experience working in fast‑paced product companies with an international footprint.
- Excellent communication skills that excite stakeholders and articulate a vision across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to influence product roadmaps alongside Product Managers and Engineers.
- Experience educating, partnering with, building with, and influencing product teams.
