About Us: Perk (formerly TravelPerk) is the intelligent platform for travel and spend management. Built to tackle the time-consuming, manual work that gets in the way of real work, our tools automate everything from travel bookings to expenses, invoice processing, and more. By eliminating this shadow work that wastes hours, erodes morale, and saps innovation, we’re on a mission to power real work, with real impact.
We’re trusted by more than 10,000 companies worldwide, including Wise, On Running, Breitling, and Fabletics, and we’re tackling the 7 hours of lost productivity per employee each week, a $1.7 trillion problem. Founded in 2015, Perk has grown into a global company of more than 1,800 people across 12 offices globally, with headquarters in London and Boston. We combine innovation, control, and simplicity to transform how businesses work and how people feel at work.
At Perk, we’re driven by our values, like being an owner, delivering a 7-star experience, and working as one team. We value curiosity, purpose, and mindset, not just knowledge, to unlock the power in your potential. Our talent team brings together leading minds from the travel and SaaS industries, representing over 70 countries. If you’re excited about having a real impact and shaping how millions of people experience work, we’d love you on the team.
What’s the role? Build with us. As Privacy & AI Analyst at Perk, you’ll help shape the future of privacy and AI in tech. You will be operating at the crossroads of business, technology, and evolving regulations. We are a team driven by customer-centricity, innovation, and ambition to be the best team in tech. You will have the opportunity to create visible impact from day one as Perk moves toward being an AI-first company.
Your work will help us build customer trust and empower teams with clear, scalable, and actionable privacy and AI governance that drives Perk’s growth. However, this is just the start: we’ll provide you with the resources you need to help us consolidate a world-class data privacy and responsible AI culture for Perk, and to grow your own profile as a leading professional in the space.
This role sits within Perk's Legal & Privacy team. Reporting to Perk’s Senior Privacy Manager, you will work closely with our Privacy Counsel & DPO.
What will you be doing?
- Strategy & Risk: You will help us build and evolve Perk's privacy and AI governance programs to enable growth while keeping trust intact. Identify and assess privacy and AI risks, then partner with the right teams to tackle them. That includes collaborating with the Security team on data incident readiness, AI threats, simulations and response.
- Operations & Implementation: You will manage our privacy and AI tooling stack (and the relationship with those vendors), including automation and integrations. You’ll keep policies and guidelines updated and handle day-to-day privacy inquiries - including DSR intake, responses, tracking, and escalation, and run core accountability activities like ROPAs, AI inventory, DPIAs/FRIAs, LIAs, TIAs, consent tracking, marketing opt-outs, and third-party due diligence. You will partner with the Privacy Counsel & DPO to turn regulatory updates into practical, scalable guidance. You’ll also track and report key program performance metrics, trends, and risks to senior stakeholders.
- Compliance & Certifications: You will keep our privacy and AI governance programs aligned to GDPR, the EU AI Act, and other applicable laws. You’ll also support ISO 27701/27001/42001/23894 internal and external audits, evidence collection, and ongoing maintenance.
- Product, Privacy & Responsible AI by Design: You will support privacy by design across product, engineering and marketing - clear guidance on data flows, retention, minimization, AI ethics, and default settings, so teams can ship with confidence, and we can detect and mitigate risks early.
- Culture & Enablement: You will consolidate a Privacy Champions program to spread shared ownership across the company group (in collaboration with your Privacy & AI team colleagues). You’ll deliver training, comms, and knowledge resources that make privacy and AI governance feel real and approachable - so teams and users can easily self-serve curated information and make informed decisions about managing data.
What capabilities will help you succeed?
- You’re excited about mastering Privacy & AI in the evolving tech space.
- 2-5 years of experience in privacy, data protection, AI governance, compliance, information security, or a related field, ideally in a technology or SaaS environment.
- Practical knowledge of key Privacy & AI regulations and frameworks.
- Proven track record owning privacy operations end‑to‑end with no to minimal supervision.
- Ability to grasp complex technical concepts. Think data flows, system architectures, and anonymisation. You don’t have to be an expert on these, but you will need to fluently communicate with and advise engineers on product development.
- Excellent problem‑solving and sound risk judgment. You will be tasked with making decisions with limited oversight.
- Clear, concise communication tailored to technical and non‑technical audiences; strong drafting skills for policies, guidance, and training.
- Self‑starter, able to prioritize impact over effort / able to say “no” to less important things for the company, bias for action.
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Information Technology, or a related field - you don’t have to be a lawyer.
- Recognized certifications such as CIPP, CIPM, CIPT, or AIGP.
- Hands-on experience with privacy and governance platforms and automation (e.g., BigID, OneTrust, TrustArc) and basic privacy tooling familiarity. You don’t have to be an expert in any one tool, but have the curiosity to learn new tools.
- Exposure to standards and audits, especially ISO 27701 and 27001.
During our interview process, we’ll look for your ability to demonstrate specific competencies which derive from Perk’s values.
The winning candidate will benefit from a competitive salary, stock options and a positive, and “high impact not long hours” culture.
Our Benefits:
- Rest and recharge with 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.
- Receive competitive compensation and equity ownership in Perk.
- Take control of your physical health with private medical cover and voluntary dental insurance from Bupa, and discounted gym memberships with GymFlex.
- Plan for your future with our qualifying earnings company pension plan with Aviva.
- Know that your loved ones are protected financially through your Life Insurance if the worst were to happen.
- Rest assured that you’re covered by income protection in case you experience a long-term sickness or absence.
- Leverage tax-efficient cycle and electric car schemes with Cycle2Work & Octopus.
- Join our unforgettable Perk events, including our spectacular annual summer party.
- Always feel supported with Spring Health, our market-leading wellbeing partner, providing fast, comprehensive access to 12x therapy and 12x coaching sessions for you and your loved ones.
- Focus on your family with 12-16 weeks’ paid parental leave.
- Contribute to your community with 16 paid hours per year to spend volunteering for your dearest charitable causes.
- Broaden your horizons with up to 20 "Work from Anywhere" days per year.
- Stay savvy with access to a wide variety of discounts and rewards.
- Follow your passions and take a four-week, fully paid sabbatical once you reach 5 years.
- Let us help you move to one of our hubs with relocation support.

We fundamentally believe in the value of meeting in real life to improve connectivity, productivity, creativity and ultimately making us a great place to work.
Perk is a global company with a diverse customer base, and we want to make sure the people behind our product reflect that. We’re an equal opportunity employer, which means you’re welcome at Perk regardless of how you look, where you’re from, or anything else that makes you, well, you.
