At Headwater, part of the Travelopia group, we love adventure travel and always have. We first took a group of travellers to the Himalaya 50 years ago and have since expanded to every continent. Today, we offer hundreds of itineraries across the globe, focusing on responsible travel, supporting local communities and preserving the environment while aiming to provide meaningful experiences to all who travel with us.

We are looking to hire a motivated Travel Sales Consultant to join our team! Working from our Northwich office in a full-time position, with a schedule that includes some weekend work.

What we’ll offer:

  • Competitive basic salary plus commission scheme (Base: £24,000 to £27,000 + Commission. On Target Earnings = £27,000 to £36,000+ per year. Uncapped)

What you’ll do:

  • The Headwater sales team is devoted to creating exceptional experiences for our customers through great communication, assisting amazing user journeys online and impactful multichannel sales activity.
  • Answering incoming and outgoing sales calls within agreed service levels whilst delivering outstanding customer service at all times.
  • Successfully create full customer package holidays, including arranging flights, ferries, car hire, transfers and liaising with hoteliers before and after the point of sale.
  • Responsible for end-to-end contact of the booking process whilst maintaining customer relationships throughout.
  • Managing email communication and live chat customer interaction.
  • Ensuring holidays are booked within a reasonable timeframe and liaising with internal departments to facilitate a speedy confirmation from lead to completion.
  • Successfully achieving monthly individual and team targets.

What you’ll bring:

  • A conscientious individual who has a genuine passion for travel and customer service.
  • Proven track record in sales and successfully achieving both individual and team sales targets.
  • You must be a confident communicator with an excellent phone manner.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to multitask and prioritise are essential.
  • Proficient in MS applications like Teams, Outlook and Excel, and quick to learn new systems.
  • Previous experience working with GDS platforms such as Amadeus / Galileo is a plus.
  • A passion for travel and adventure is always welcome! Solid European geographical knowledge would be an advantage.
