Working days: minimum 2 days maximum 5 days / week (Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat - depending on departures)

About the role

Our base teams are instrumental in delivering our amazing holidays and are why many of our customers return year on year. Our Operational Agents are crucial in ensuring that our base operation runs smoothly by ensuring our fleet of boats are gleaming and prepped ready for a prompt departure as well as looking after the variety of ancillary products our customers can book. This is an extremely fun and fast paced role that requires a customer centric approach along with strong practical and organisational skills.

What you will be doing:

  • Exterior cleaning of boats.
  • Maintaining and preparing the extras booked by our customers such as bikes, cushions and BBQs.
  • On busy departure days supporting the technical team with the preparation of the boats which includes but is not limited to refuelling, rope checks and filling water tanks.
  • Supporting in the pre and post season preparation tasks essential for getting our boats ready for customers and winter maintenance.
  • Participate in boat reconditioning projects as required.
  • Provide assistance to customers as required (e.g. loading and unloading of luggage) to ensure our customers have the best possible holiday.
  • Support colleagues in other departments as and when needed to ensure the customer experience remains a priority at all times.

  • Excellent attention to detail with an ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Highly organised and responsive to competing demands.
  • Able to communicate information to colleagues, head office and customers in a clear and timely manner.
  • Work effectively both within a team and have the initiative to work independently.
  • Mechanical or technician experience (desirable).
  • A good swimmer due to working in close proximity to water (desirable).
