We are looking to hire a Product Manager (Americas) to join our team! Reporting to Head of Product Management, you’ll own the strategic development of destinations for the UK and North America source markets, focusing on innovative product design, effective contracting and negotiations, supporting operations, and driving excellent customer satisfaction. This role sits within the Africa and Americas team, and a specialism and experience in the Americas region is required.

What you’ll do:
- Analyse customer and competitor data to build an innovative, unique and commercially profitable regional portfolio and strategy
- Maintain and nurture strong supplier relationships, managing rate negotiations, overrides and commercial agreements, external marketing agreements including with tourist boards, contractual compliance and ensuring health & safety objectives
- Build and manage a positive and constructive relationship with your range of local operators throughout the contracting and operational cycle
- Maintaining excellent operational standards by analysing and acting on customer feedback and trends
- Working closely with the commercial teams to optimise our tours through volume, revenue and trip fill
- Support marketing and trade with inspirational content and trading requirements, ensuring we are using product insights to effectively market our destinations to grow our source markets
- Support the international sales team to understand requirements, maximise tour occupancy and remove barriers to booking
- Ensure product content is accurate and optimised to support online conversion targets, focusing on accurate trip content and quality
What you’ll bring:
- A motivated and inspiring individual to help deliver outstanding product experiences to our customers and profit to the business
- A passionate traveller with a specialism or expertise in the Americas region and associated products
- Strong experience of product management and contracting in a travel or tour operator business
- A proven experience of negotiating rates, commercial agreements and tactical buying
- Excellent attention to detail. Strong analytical & commercial skills.
- A willingness to learn and develop
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to prioritise and manage workloads on a day-to-day basis, adept at moving deadlines and fast paced environment
- Interest or experience of outdoor or adventurous activities such as trekking, walking or cycling is an advantage
- IT literate – Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Be able to travel regularly and last minute for business purposes
