We are seeking a highly motivated Key Account Manager to join our dynamic and successful Indirect Sales Team. As Key Account Manager, you will provide comprehensive support to your portfolio of Travel Management Companies (TMCs), nurturing the partnerships with these TMCs and their associated strategic Corporate Clients while delivering Indirect Sales strategies to grow revenue. This role offers the flexibility of remote work with the requirement for frequent travel to customer sites and our hotel support office in Thame. It is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated individual, eager to learn, and passionate about building a successful career in Indirect Sales. Your contributions will be instrumental in delivering exceptional long-term partnerships with TMCs. Responsibilities
- Grow Revenue and Market Share from your portfolio of TMCs in line with quarterly targets.
- Plan and execute Strategic Partnership Plans to deliver aligned commercial goals with your TMC Portfolio.
- Negotiate contracts: Ensuring clear commission, rate and allocation strategy is agreed and implemented.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with your TMC Portfolio and associated strategic Corporate Clients.
- Account Performance Analysis: Regularly analyse TMC performance, identifying trends, opportunities, and potential risks, and providing insights to TMCs and Head of Indirect Sales.
- Cross‑functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including revenue, marketing, finance and operations, to ensure seamless coordination and support for key accounts.
- Travel and Meetings: Travel frequently to attend TMC and Corporate Client meetings and participate in & represent Travelodge at industry events. Travel to our hotel support office in Thame and attend team meetings as required.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in sales, account management, customer support, or a similar role, preferably in the hospitality or travel industry.
