If yes, our Plumber (Water Efficiency) position might be the right next move for you.

Your Purpose: As a Plumber within our Water & Electrical Efficiency Team, you will travel across the UK delivering plumbing repairs, water efficiency improvements and leak investigations throughout the Travelodge estate. Supporting our Better Future sustainability plan, you will help reduce water consumption by carrying out remedial works, installing water-saving solutions and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency across our hotels. This is a nationwide role, so you'll enjoy working independently while building strong relationships with our hotel teams to ensure every job is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Your Strengths: You will be responsible for carrying out repairs to water-wasting appliances, including toilets, valves and overflows, installing water-saving fittings, taking water meter readings and investigating both internal and external leaks. You will also conduct water efficiency audits, recording flow rates and water pressure, while ensuring all work complies with Health & Safety legislation and Travelodge policies. Working independently, you will manage your own workload, maintain agreed stock levels, complete daily reporting and always provide excellent customer service to our hotel teams.

In addition, you will hold a City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing and a full UK driving licence. You will be flexible and willing to stay away from home Monday to Friday, with overnight stays forming part of the role. You will have a keen interest in sustainability, excellent attention to detail and a drive to continuously improve. Strong communication skills, confidence using IT systems and the ability to carry out physical work are essential. Experience within a hotel environment, commercial plumbing experience, a G3 Unvented qualification and previous experience managing stock and your own workload would be advantageous.
