We’re hiring a Management Accountant to join our expanding Financial Reporting team following the acquisition of 66 freehold properties in 2024. This role sits within the Propco arm of the Travelodge Group and offers hands‑on involvement across management and financial reporting. Working closely with the Propco Reporting Accountant and Group Reporting Manager, you’ll prepare month‑end journals and balance sheet reconciliations, produce monthly management accounts, prepare quarterly VAT returns, support Propco financial statements, and help meet lender covenant and compliance requirements. You’ll also liaise with external partners and collaborate closely with teams across Finance and the wider business, including Property.
Who will this appeal to? You’re a newly or part‑qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) with hands‑on management accounts experience, ideally in a multi‑site environment, and you’re ready for a role that will stretch you. Detail‑focused and proactive, you’re confident working with senior stakeholders, comfortable challenging constructively, and keen to drive efficiencies and process improvements. You bring strong Excel skills, are fluent in financial systems and reporting tools, and have helpful exposure to SUN and/or Q&A.
