As our Senior Management Accountant, you will take full ownership of complex P&L lines and balance sheet reconciliations within a high-volume, multi-site environment. This role demands a proactive leader who can hit the ground running, supporting the Management Accounting Team Manager by delivering robust month-end results and mentoring junior staff through meticulous work reviews. You will serve as a bridge between finance and the wider business, acting as a key point of contact for external audits and translating intricate data sets into clear, actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders.
Beyond core reporting, you will apply high-level commercial acumen to partner with the FP&A team on annual budgeting and cyclical forecasting. You will be a driver of change, critically evaluating existing processes to enhance the control environment and identify operational efficiencies. By leading investment appraisals and supporting business cases, you will directly influence cost-saving opportunities and risk management, ensuring all financial activities align with the fast-paced strategic direction of the company.

You are a highly motivated, qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA) with extensive post-qualified experience and thrived in fast-paced, multi-site environments. You bring the energy and technical confidence to hit the ground running, taking immediate ownership of complex P&L lines while supporting the Management Accounting Team Manager in delivering a seamless month-end. With a sharp eye for detail and a mentor’s mindset, you are comfortable reviewing the work of others and ensuring the highest standards of financial integrity across the board.
A true "data storyteller," you possess advanced Excel skills and the ability to translate complex datasets into clear, compelling narratives for executive audiences. While your technical toolkit ideally includes experience with SUN or Anaplan, it is your commercial acumen that sets you apart. You are someone who looks beyond the numbers to identify risks, uncover cost-saving opportunities, and provide the strategic challenge necessary to drive the business forward.
