We’re on the lookout for a Property and Corporate PR Manager to take charge of our Property and Development Communications Strategy across the UK and Spain and support on Sustainability communications. If you love the buzz of new hotel openings, media relations, and creating high-impact PR campaigns, this is your chance to shape the narrative for one of the UK’s largest hotel brands.

Your Purpose

This role is all about shaping and delivering the PR strategy for Travelodge’s Property and Development team, ensuring our growth story is told in the right way, to the right audiences. You’ll lead media relations, securing high-profile opportunities for senior leaders and driving communications that support new hotel openings and wider property initiatives. You will also support the business with any government affairs and advocacy activity in this area. Managing our Spanish PR agency, you’ll oversee PR for Travelodge’s 13 hotels in Spain and future expansion, making sure their communications plan is executed effectively. From drafting press releases and crafting media campaigns to developing relationships with key stakeholders, you’ll be at the heart of all things Property PR. You’ll also take ownership of content for the Travelodge Property and Development LinkedIn page and corporate website, keeping our audiences informed and engaged. Supporting the Corporate Communications Director and wider PR team, you’ll contribute to the annual PR strategy, own sustainability communications and support the Press Office team. With a fast-paced environment and plenty of variety, you’ll also be leading and developing a Property PR Executive, ensuring they’re supported and delivering great work.

Crisis communications won’t faze you, and you’ll have the confidence to navigate reputational challenges while keeping cool under pressure. Your communication skills will be top-notch, and you’ll have a strong network of media contacts in the UK. Adaptability is key, as is a can-do attitude—whether you're managing press releases, overseeing the Spanish PR strategy, or leading a team executive, you'll be happy to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in. Experience in event management, stakeholder relations, and social media will also set you up for success.
