As our Head of Revenue Management, you will lead the strategic revenue optimisation for Travelodge extensive estate, overseeing a multi-layered team responsible for performance across circa 620 hotels. Reporting to the Revenue Strategy and Trading Director, you will drive market share growth through sophisticated forecasting, pricing excellence, and system adoption. This senior leadership role is pivotal in shaping both tactical and long-term vision, requiring a collaborative approach to influence cross-functional partners and embed high-performance standards across the entire organisation.
Key Responsibilities include but not be limited to:
- Operational Leadership: Deliver revenue targets by implementing enterprise-level strategies, overseeing channel optimisation, and maintaining rigorous pricing governance.
- Team Development: Lead and coach a tiered revenue structure (Regional Heads and Area Managers), fostering a "test-and-learn" culture and robust succession planning.
- System Excellence: Drive "best-in-class" use of the RMS (IDeaS), leading optimisation projects and shaping the future roadmap for core trading systems.
- Strategic Collaboration: Partner with the SME Sales, Digital, and Groups teams to align pricing opportunities and provide actionable insights for business planning.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor the competitive landscape and market dynamics to adapt pricing strategies, maximising both occupancy and yield.

You bring a collaborative, motivational coaching style and the strategic mindset necessary to solve intricate commercial problems. Confident in challenging and influencing at a senior level, you execute agreed outcomes with clarity and total accountability.
Your background should demonstrate a deep understanding of high-volume environments, where you have consistently driven market share growth and optimised revenue mix through sharp commercial acumen. As a technical expert, you possess advanced proficiency in Revenue Management Systems—ideally IDeaS—and a passion for data-driven decision-making. You are adept at fostering a culture of continuous improvement, utilising test-and-learn approaches to refine best practices and system configurations. By combining technical excellence with the ability to influence cross-functional partners in Sales, Digital, and IT, you will ensure the revenue function remains a central pillar of the organisation’s long-term success.
