Your Purpose
At Travelodge, you'll join our ambitious Digital Team as a Data Scientist, using big data, cloud technologies and cutting-edge AI to solve real business challenges. From optimising marketing investment and maximising customer lifetime value to building intelligent personalisation and predictive models, your work will influence key commercial decisions and drive measurable revenue growth. You’ll enjoy the freedom to own projects from end to end, working with minimal oversight while collaborating with digital, marketing and senior business leaders. Your Strengths
You will be a commercially-minded Data Scientist with a solid understanding of digital commerce and online marketing dynamics (experience optimising ad spend or digital acquisition is highly desirable). You’ll have advanced Python and SQL skills, experience building and deploying data science solutions in AWS, Azure or GCP, and hands-on knowledge of modern AI tools and frameworks. You’ll bring expertise in statistical modelling, optimisation, forecasting, customer segmentation and experimentation, with the ability to turn complex data into clear commercial insights. Strong communication, stakeholder management and the confidence to work independently are essential, alongside a degree in a quantitative discipline and relevant experience in a data science or advanced analytics role.
