Are you ready to shape a dynamic team and drive the future of maintenance for an industry leading budget hospitality brand?

As our Director of Maintenance, you will lead our maintenance function which operates as a reactive maintenance business with circa 200 maintenance engineers, and an outsourced supply chain of specialist contractors completing in excess of 400,000 maintenance jobs per annum.

Your team will be responsible for ensuring our rooms are available for sale, our hotels provide safe environments for both customers and colleagues, and that we maintain high-quality standards, prioritising work that matters most to our customers, balancing it with ongoing refurbishment cycles, whilst being commercially aware of our budget status and cost controls.

In addition, you will lead the transformation of our future Maintenance model, including decisions on in-sourcing vs. outsourcing, balancing reactive and planned maintenance, leveraging data and AI, and developing a strategic plan to maximise value and operational performance excellence.

We work hard to improve the diversity of our teams and celebrate our differences. We care about our colleagues’ wellbeing, ensuring there are plenty of resources available so everyone can look after their emotional, physical, financial and work wellbeing.
