Job Description
Are you a Salesforce power-user who knows how to turn raw CRM data into a high-octane revenue engine? Do you have the commercial edge to transform a mass account portfolio into a long-term growth story for a household name? If yes, we would love to hear from you.
What’s it all about?
Are you a strategic leader with a passion for driving revenue and a mastery of Salesforce? Travelodge is looking for a dynamic Sales Team Lead to inspire and manage a team of Client Managers. Your mission is to secure the retention and fuel the growth of our existing business account portfolio.
You will act as a \”player-coach,\” balancing the management of your own high-value accounts while equipping your team with the strategic tools, data insights, and support they need to exceed their targets.
Day to day duties include but are not limited to:
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a high-performing team of Client Managers to maximise opportunities within a mass account management portfolio.
- Performance Strategy: Define \”what success looks like\” by establishing measurable KPIs that align with our departmental growth goals.
- Process Innovation: Partner with the leadership team to develop world-class account management processes and deliver a long-term strategy for revenue growth.
- Player-Coach Responsibility: Lead by example by managing your own individual set of accounts, demonstrating best-in-class sales techniques.
- Data-Driven Insights: Translate complex performance data into actionable insights for the leadership team, identifying performance gaps and providing the \”why\” behind the results.
- CRM Excellence: Serve as the subject matter expert for Salesforce. You will ensure data integrity and leverage CRM tools to optimise outreach, automate workflows, and drive team activity.
- Forecasting & Analysis: Maintain a rolling revenue forecast and utilise PowerBI to ensure we stay on track to hit our business targets.
- Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of the curve by maintaining a deep understanding of market trends, competitor activity, and new initiatives to keep Travelodge as the preferred partner of choice.

Who will this appeal to?
To succeed in this role, you will be a results-driven commercial leader with a significant background in B2B sales and a proven track record of delivering revenue growth through strategic mass account management. You’ll possess the unique ability to balance high‑level strategy with hands‑on coaching, leading a team of four Client Managers and two Business Membership Support Managers toward exceeding their targets. Your leadership style is defined by a positive, \”can‑do\” attitude and a commitment to professional development through regular performance reviews and actionable feedback.
As our resident Salesforce expert, you will leverage the full suite of sales enablement tools—including Sales Engagement, automation, and ideally Agentic AI—to optimise team activity. You are highly proficient in using data‑driven insights to manage complex pipelines and translate performance metrics into clear, strategic recommendations for senior leadership. By utilising individual and team dashboards, you will ensure total data integrity while identifying performance gaps and providing the \”why\” behind the numbers to drive consistent results.

You bring deep commercial insight to every proposal, using your knowledge of the hospitality market and competitor activity to position Travelodge as the preferred partner of choice. Your focus will be on maintaining a rolling revenue forecast and implementing proactive strategies that ensure long‑term retention and significant portfolio expansion.
