Key accountabilities
- Support on day-to-day external partner interactions with our Programme Manager, keeping the list of open actions prioritised and up to date
- Maintain company contacts and communications in relevant systems
- Monitor and assess any business or card scheme changes impacting our card programmes, clearly documenting and communicating them to the relevant suppliers and colleagues
- Drive the implementation of new processes and ways of working in relation to the card, working with the Global Operations team and stakeholders globally to ensure operational requirements are met and new procedures are agreed and communicated appropriately.
- Investigate with our suppliers and card scheme the functionality available and compliance requirements applicable to new products and features
- Support with onboarding of new partners and suppliers for the Card programme including co-ordinating due diligence process on existing suppliers
- Obtain and submit information to Mastercard as required, including quarterly reporting and product amendments
- Investigating Mastercard rules that may be applicable to new regions, services and features
- Monitoring and communicating Mastercard notifications
- Review and confirm card scheme registrations obtaining necessary approvals from the relevant Travelex teams
- Manage or coordinate the management of card scheme notifications for individual cards or bulk lists of cards
- Support across the core cards team on projects and initiatives, coordinating feedback and sharing updates across relevant parties
- Support our Project Delivery team by directly managing projects and supporting with process analysis, when needed
- Cards Incident Management (e.g. operational losses, process errors) including co-ordination of investigation with relevant team, mitigation, recovery, and reporting/escalation procedures
- Supporting the Global Cards Manager with MI and reporting, both from external partners and with internal cards data
- Coordinate content and represent the Global Cards team at relevant internal and external meetings
Role-specific experience and skills
- Experience at a Programme Manager, BIN Sponsor or Card Issuer in a customer service, back office or implementations related role
- Experience of Mastercard or Visa issuance and associated operating rules preferred
- Experience with Travel or Prepaid programmes would be, advantageous
- Strong confident user of MS Excel, MS Word and ideally MS PowerPoint
- Experience using ticket systems and knowledge base tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Experience using MS Visio and Miro/Mural/Figjam would be beneficial
- Experience handling data and MI, analysing and supporting on key metrics would be advantageous
